This Privacy Policy describes how the "EU AI Act Compliance Badge" app (the "App") collects, uses, and shares information when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

2. Information We Collect

The App is designed to be a "Zero-Data" compliance tool. We do not store, log, or persist any Personal Data (PII) from your customers or your store.

• Customer IP Addresses: The App checks the geographic origin (Country) of your storefront visitors to determine whether they are located within the European Union. This process happens securely at the network edge. The raw IP address is never logged, saved, or transmitted to our servers.
• Shopify Store Data: We securely retrieve and store only the minimum required authentication tokens and webhook subscriptions provided by Shopify to keep the App installed and functional on your store.

3. How We Use the Information

We use the information exclusively to:

• Render the correct compliance badge based on user geography.
• Authenticate your store and manage your subscription billing securely via the Shopify Billing API.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to third parties.

5. Your Rights
